A much-needed development of 10 new Stonewater homes for affordable rent is taking shape at Rosebank in Millfield, Chard. Stonewater, one of the UK’s leading housing providers, is working with South Somerset District Council and Brookvale to deliver the £1.5 million scheme that will offer a mix of five two-bedroom, two three-bedroom and one four-bedroom houses and two two-bedroom flats.

The event was marked with the presentation of a cheque for £350 from Stonewater and regional contractor Ignite Homes for the Marie Curie Daffodil Appeal.

The last apartment block in a much-needed new development of 81 affordable Stonewater homes neared completion this week at Windmill Eye in Smethwick. Members of Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council and other guests joined housing provider Stonewater at the new apartments which have been named ‘Mason House’ by pupils from St Phillip’s Catholic Primary School in Messenger Road.
