The Public Contracts Regulation 2015 is a UK legislation that implements Directive 2014/24 on Public Procurement in the UK. This helps us to find the right supplier quickly and effectively.

How we procure services

As a public sector contracting authority, Stonewater approaches all procurement and contract management activity in line with the terms of the Procurement Act 2023, The Procurement Regulations 2024 and the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, for any contract procured prior to 24 February 2025.

Full procurement activity for goods and services is conducted in line with the stated regulatory threshold of £207,720 or above, with works contracts following the same principles for projects valued in excess of £5,193,000.
