Paul began his data career more than ten years ago, working on large datasets for Amazon, before moving across to the financial services industry and then the Ambassador Theatre Group – where he was the Head of Data.

With a proven track record of stakeholder management, as well as analysing and implementing data strategies, in Paul’s previous role he had already made a huge impact at Stonewater by developing the foundations of a data platform in Microsoft Azure in just four weeks.

In his new role, Paul will be overseeing a range of data-related functions across Stonewater, ensuring that the organisation is harnessing data in a way that enables change, growth and flexibility across the business.

Commenting on his promotion, Paul said: “A core focus for our team is ensuring that the data Stonewater holds is reliable, up to date and accurate, so that as an organisation we can draw on this information to make well-informed decisions to benefit our customers and colleagues.

“Achieving this will involve cross-team collaboration, so we can effectively centralise and make any stored data readily available.”

David Blower, Executive Director – Corporate Services at Stonewater, said: “Data- rich organisations can continuously enhance their processes and services to meet the changing needs of their customers. This is exactly how we want to be evolving as a business and after working with Paul on several projects already, I know he is ideally placed to move us forward on our digital transformation journey.”
