Stonewater appoints Joanna Gooch to help drive housing services strategy

Leading social and affordable housing provider Stonewater has appointed Joanna Gooch from Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, as Assistant Director for Housing Strategy and Transformation. Joanna will provide strategic development of Stonewater’s retirement living and wider social housing services.

Joanna takes up her new position with extensive experience in the operational management and the strategic development of retirement living services. “This is an exciting and challenging new role which allows me to use my knowledge and strategic expertise in this specialist sector to help shape and develop Stonewater’s wider social housing offer,” says Joanna.

Prior to her appointment, Joanna was Head of Retirement Living at Stonewater and previous to this, Director of Care and Support for affordable housing provider Circle Housing Group, where she was responsible for the strategic development and operational management of services for 4,000 customers. She has also worked as an independent consultant for a number of housing associations, including Luminus Group, Roddons Housing Association and North Hertfordshire Homes.
