Stonewater completes transfer of 97 homes in Brighton and Hove
Stonewater has completed the combined transfer of 97 homes from Porthove Housing Association Limited and The Rotary Club of Hove Community Housing Society Limited.

Following discussions announced last year, the homes and their customers across Brighton and Hove have now joined the Stonewater Group through a transfer of engagements, completed on 27 April 2026.
The homes will now be managed as part of Stonewater’s wider portfolio of more than 40,000 homes across the country.
The transfer supports the long-term future of the homes, ensuring continued investment and access to a broader range of services, while maintaining a strong focus on local delivery.
Porthove Housing Association and The Rotary Club of Hove Community Housing Society have a long history of providing housing in the local area. Through the transfer, Stonewater will build on this legacy, working with customers to ensure services continue to meet their needs.

The transfer has been completed in line with the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014. Stonewater Limited remains the parent of the Stonewater Group.
