Stonewater's commitment to creating an inclusive environment for its colleagues was recognised with a top 10 place in both the Network Group of the Year and Outstanding Employer categories.

The prestigious national Ethnicity Awards ceremony, which took place in London earlier this month, paid tribute to individuals and organisations that support Black, Asian, and diverse Ethnic communities.

The top 10 achievement marks the third consecutive year that Stonewater has been praised for its ethnicity and inclusivity work, having been ranked in the top 10 organisations in both the 2021 and 2022 Ethnicity Awards.

Nicholas Harris, Chief Executive of Stonewater, said: “We are 100% committed to creating an inclusive culture across our organisation so, for our work to be recognised at a national level is an honour.

“Our colleagues and our customers sit at the heart of everything we do and, since forming in 2015, Stonewater's truly inclusive culture has been a leading light in the affordable housing sector.

“Our dedicated Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion team ensures that our colleagues are a reflection of society as a whole, enabling us to provide our customers with the best possible experience.”

Jenny Sawyer, Director of People, Culture & Change, added: “We are thrilled to have been awarded the top 10 listings in two categories. These achievements are a testament to the value and importance we place on supporting and including all our colleagues so that they can reach their full potential.

“I would like to congratulate the entire Stonewater team for embracing and enhancing our inclusive culture, enabling us to provide the best possible service for our customers.”
