Highgates is a retirement living scheme in Derby. It consists of 38 self-contained one-bedroom flats across four levels, which can be easily accessed by stairs or lift. Designed with security, privacy and independence in mind, the main entrance can only be accessed with a fob.

We support residents in all of our retirement living schemes to continue living independently. This support includes:
- A community alarm service for out of hours support (managed 24/7)
- Housing-related support to help you remain independent at home - our local team can signpost you to other agencies and support systems to help maintain your independence
- Effective housing management and tenancy sustainment services – our team can mediate between Stonewater if you have any problems (e.g. with your rent or with neighbours)
- Low-level support services to improve your health and wellbeing
- Health and safety building checks

Local area
Highgates is located in the UK's most central city, Derby. Highgates is ideally situated close to Derby city centre and the bustling Intu Derby shopping centre. Home to a plenty of retails shops, fitness centres, Derby theatre and the Showcase cinema, there is plenty to do. You can also take a gentle stroll down to the River Derwent and enjoy the green surroundings of the Derby River Gardens.
There are excellent transport links around the scheme, with frequent buses and train routes through Derbyshire and into Nottingham.
