Applying for a Retirement Living property

To make sure the Retirement Living property you are interested in is right for you, we ask everyone who applies to take part in an eligibility assessment.

Here’s a step by step guide to what’s involved:

1. Once you’ve found a property like the look of, the first step is to fill out our enquiry form or call our Customer Service Centre on 01202 319119 to register your interest.

2. Your details will then be passed on to our Allocations team, who will do some initial application checks e.g. a credit check.

3. Next, our Retirement Living team will invite you to have a more in-depth chat with us. This is an informal meeting where you’ll meet some of the colleagues who work on the scheme you’re interested in. We’ll also ask you some general questions – for example, about your general health and wellbeing – to make sure the property is a good fit for you and that we’ll be able to offer the level of support you might need. You are welcome to bring a family member or friend with you if you’d like to.

4. We’ll then review the outcome of the assessment and let you know as soon as possible if the property is suitable for you.
