What if I'm affected by local restrictions?

The Government has announced local restrictions in several areas across England. Restrictions vary between local authorities, so for the latest official information please click here.

Where local restrictions are in place, our services may be impacted and things like repairs may take longer than usual. For all other services there will be minor changes to ensure that we comply with any local regulations.

Please check this page regularly, as we will provide updates on any areas where we may have to adjust our service level temporarily.

Please note that the following service level updates currently only apply to Leicester, and parts of Leicestershire, Bradford, Calderdale and Kirklees. To find out if where you live is affected, please visit your local authority website:

What if I need to report a repair?

For areas affected by local restrictions, we will revert to emergency only repairs and compliance activities.

Although we're only carrying out emergency repairs at this time in your area, you can still report a repair via MyHome. Any new non-emergency repairs for homes within the local lockdown area will be booked within a 60-day appointment window (not within the next two weeks).

What if I had a repair planned in the next two weeks?

Any planned works will be suspended at this time to maintain your safety and that of our contractors. If your repair was scheduled within the next two weeks, you will be contacted by our contractor to confirm the postponing of the appointment.

Once we have a better understanding of when the restrictions will be lifted we will look to reschedule your appointment.

Will you still be providing estate services?

Our grounds maintenance and cleaning contractors will continue to provide a full service within the guidance of safe working and PPE.

We have asked our contractors to focus on activity that will make the biggest difference during this time, for example, clearing fly tipping, maintaining bin stores and prioritising cleaning areas that people often touch e.g. bannisters, door handles etc.

Estate inspections are not possible to carry out at this time but we will continue to raise work orders wherever possible to deal with fly tipping and any health and safety hazards.
