Remember to complete the census by 21 March

Taking part in the census is your chance to help make sure you and your community get the services you need for the next 10 years and beyond.

The census provides a snapshot of our society, helping the Government and local organisations (like Stonewater) to make decisions on planning and funding public services in each area, including transport, education and healthcare. You can find out more about it here.

Every household should fill out the census, and you have until 21 March (census day) to do so.

For the first time, census 2021 is digital first, with a mobile and tablet friendly website to fill out the form, rather than the traditional paper copy. You've probably already received a letter telling you about the census 2021 in the post - this also includes your household access code, which you'll need to complete it online.

There are also accessible options available for those who might not be able to access the website, as well as a helpline for support in completing the form.

It's a legal requirement for each household to complete the census or your could be fined up to £1,000.  So don’t delay – fill out your form on or by 21 March and help shape services for the future.
