Raglan Court has 30 self contained flats split across 3 floors within a purpose built scheme. There are ground floor apartments for those with mobility needs and first and second floor apartments accessed via a lift for those of you who like the security of living above ground floor.
The apartments are at present all electric. The scheme also underwent fairly recent kitchen refurbishments.
All indoor flats have their own individual entrance off an internal corridor for added security.
New residents are accepted from 55 years of age and above.
Raglan Court in Southampton is situated in the popular area of Park Gate in the borough of Fareham which is located between Southampton and Portsmouth.
The scheme has great transport links. It’s close to bus stops and a small parade of shops including two convenience stores. There are also 2 petrol stations, a pharmacy and gents barbers, all within 100 meters of the scheme.
There are 2 family pubs close by and the Doctors surgery is in walking distance. The popular, newly refurbished Whitely Village shopping centre is a short bus ride away which boasts many retail outlets, a large supermarket, cafes, restaurants and a 9 screen cinema.
What does Raglan Court have to offer you?
Raglan Court has many communal facilities that include a resident lounge, a fully equipped kitchen (no cooker, only a microwave), toilets, laundry room and mobile hairdresser (every Thursday) for the residents to use. We also benefit from a guest room.
There is an active social committee, who like to arrange functions for the residents such as bingo, meat raffles, and coffee mornings. The Stonewater staff hold residents meetings in the lounge where residents can air their views, comments and suggestions or simply come along to find out what’s happening in the scheme.
Raglan Court has its own Retirement Living Service who is there to support you if you need it. When the Team not on site you have the peace of mind of just pulling a cord and help being arranged via the Apello Careline control centre. The Scheme also has a private office where you can talk with staff if you need any help or advice confidentially.
We have a secure door entry system for entry to the building, available in every flat.
Other services available on offer are, meals on wheels and a well stocked mobile library.
We have an external landscaped gardening service who maintain the gardens, however if residents have a keen interest in gardening they are welcome to participate. There is private un-allocated bay parking for residents and their guests.
We offer a reliable repairs service to keep your flat in full working order which can be accessed with just a phone call. Our contractors will attempt to make an appointment that's convenient to you and it's all included in your rent so no surprise bills for you to pay.
