Facilities a Farnol House

Farnol House is a retirement living scheme with 41 self-contained properties, including 20 studios, 20 one-bedroom apartments and one two-bedroom apartment. All properties benefit their own individual entrance off an internal corridor for added security.

Supporting you

We support residents in all of our retirement living schemes to continue living independently. This support includes:

  • A community alarm service for out of hours support (managed 24/7)
  • Housing-related support to help you remain independent at home - our local team can signpost you to other agencies and support systems to help maintain your independence
  • Effective housing management and tenancy sustainment services – our team can mediate between Stonewater if you have any problems (e.g. with your rent or with neighbours)
  • Low-level support services to improve your health and wellbeing
  • Health and safety building checks

Local area

The scheme is located approximately one mile from Eastbourne town centre, which offers a wide range of amenities, leisure facilities and coastal attractions. There is also a district general hospital with an A&E.

A bus stop is located directly outside the scheme and Eastbourne itself has main line rail services to Gatwick and London. There are also good road links via the A22 and A27.
